Kaupan liitto
Kaupan liitto (Finnish Commerce Federation, kauppa.fi) is the national advocacy and employers’ organisation for retail and wholesale. It represents the trade in economic policy and in labour-market negotiations. It publishes statistics, surveys and outlooks on commerce.
Some material is public. Some is for members. Official structural statistics on trade still come from Tilastokeskus.
If you hire shop or wholesale staff, the collective agreement for the sector is negotiated with this federation on the employer side. Pay, Sunday work and related rules are in that TES.
Practical advice
Read the latest public retail reports on kauppa.fi before you sign a lease or set a store concept.
If you hire, get the current TES. Do not copy pay tables from an old blog post.
